thanks for the feedback, i'm glad people are enjoying it. sunnie is one of the most talented musicians i've heard and i'm honored to be doing the art for her cds. i love any kind of folk and our collaboration is producing some good work out of me.

thank you, i try to keep my collages simple but after so many tracings of the same image, sometimes i feel that they're too simple. this one was drawn and traced at least 5 or 6 seperate times, and then painted. it's a pain in the ass but i'm pretty used to it by now.

when she first approached me about doing a cover for her, i think i told her that i wanted free reign over the project. luckily it worked out that her idea was the same as mine for the first cd cover (the two monsters) we both wanted something ugly to contradict the kind of music she was making and the folk monster theme was a perfect representation. so for this one, i tried a pretty drawing (the girl) but she didn't like it and we went back to monsters. i enjoy the idea that they should be terrifying creatures but somehow are tamed, maybe by the music or maybe that they look like they could make beautiful music. i don't really know and i think that's how it should be, i would rather have people interpret it than to interpret it myself.
