they're not in a good relationship and both of them know it but they stay together anyway, maybe because they're afraid of taking a chance, they love each other but it's not genuine. when i made this piece, i thought, either he's the beast, or she is, or the relationship is.

if he's the beast, she knows it and she loves him and accepts him anyway, but she usually gets involved with people who aren't good for her, and he's usually bad for people he gets involved with.

if she is, her hair is probably the strongest indicator of her personality, red is the color of seduction and danger and the infinity symbol means she's never going to change, and he's blind to this.

overall, even though they're in a relationship together, their stances are guarded and almost uncomfortable, each one carries their "baggage" around with them and even the whole piece is split right down the middle.
